This industrial shredding company is so proud of their shredder that they've posted videos. They're actually pretty cool. Highlights include a washing machine, whole computers, and even a boat.

Tsunami Pictures Recoverd

The digital camera of a couple believed to have been killed in the recent tsunami has been recovered. The couple managed to capture several shots of the wave closing on the shore. The last picture is a little eerie since you can see how close the wave is, and you know it was their final moment.

Nice boxers, give me $50

A bill making it illegal to wear your jeans low has been approved in the House of Delagates in Viriginia. Now, I think wearing your jeans below your ass is completely ridiculous. Also, assuming it's true that the practice started in prison to make gay, man-on-man prison sex easy, I can't imagine why any straight guy would think "it's cool". But, I certainly don't think a state-mandated dress code is the way to go. It's funny how we go to war with totalitarian countries, while we make totalitarian laws at home. The bill goes against the Viriginia Senate sometime soon.

Butterflies and Booms

Two interesting developments in technology today. One is incredibly cool, and one that is incredibly lame. The butterflies are so cool I tingle. The suitcase, well, it's an instrument of evil. Regardless of its supposed business purpose, the only people who will buy this are obnoxious asses who think I want to hear their craptastic music in the security line.

MSN Search smacks Google in the face

Microsoft has released its revamped search engine this week. This is supposed to be a Google-killer. I've only played with it a little, but I would definitely say that Google needs to watch its back. MSN matches Google for almost every feature, and does a much better job of publizing them. (I still don't understand why Google hides so much of its functionality.) I'm not saying Google and I broken up yet, but I made sure I got MSN Search's number...

Casino in the sky

Virgin Atlantic is planning on turning their A830's into flying casinos. I applaud this business venture and bow humbly in Mr. Branson's presence. They're also going to install 35 private double beds in each plane, which Branson basically says are for getting laid. I'm also all for this, as long as they change up the matresses frequently...

VW gets whats coming to them

A class action suit has finally been brought against Verizon Wireless over the v710. For those unaware, VW crippled the Bluetooth functionality of the phone so that file transfers were impossible, forcing subscribers to use VW's pay-as-you-go Get It Now service. However, they left that detail out in all product literature and don't mention it to consumers in their retail stores. The ethics of it all have long been discussed, and it's good to see someone finally doing something about it.

Roots Rock Reggae

Bob Marley's wife has requested that his body be exhumed and re-buried in Ethiopia. She claims that his roots and life were all about Africa. Personally, I don't really care where I'm buried when I die. But, I know I definitely don't want people digging me up and moving me around once I'm in a spot. I mean, that's you r spot; it's been claimed.

Daily Show book censored

Mississippi libraries have decided to ban the Daily Show book America. They claim the fake naked depictions of the Supreme Court Justices are too indecent. I don't understand why this humorous depiction is too graphic, but it's ok to stock books on sex education that provide extremely detailed descriptions and photos of sex. Don't cite educational value as the difference, because America is education too, damnit.

Wal-mart even hates itself

Wal-mart carries Bill Quinn's book about how the its evil. Is a vulgar display of balls, or an oversight? Who cares. It's funny. By the way, Wal-Mart is the devil, in case you forgot. Thanks to Paul for this one.

A surprising move from PSU, they are urging students to use non-IE browsers. Every Firefox and Safari convert we can get is a good one, even if they do go to Penn State...

The Wachowski Brothers are apparently just a bunch of plagerists. They lost the case against them and will need to pay part of a gigantic payoff to the woman who had the original idea. Apparently, she's the one.
